Market Sensitization and Orientation Mark First Phase of Al Photo-Base Assessment Food Loss Pilot in Jos.

An AI photo based market assessment field test is currently underway in selected vegetable markets in Jos, including Farin Gada Market, ahead of formal project commencement. The exercise is led by the International Food Policy Research Institute in collaboration with Inaho, with technical input from the World Vegetable Center and local field coordination by DAJRHAS Health and Agric Development Ltd. The field test focuses on validating tools and engagement approaches while ensuring non intrusive data collection and minimal disruption to market activities.

Delegation From USLGE and RSG To Visit Dajrhas and Plateau State for Evaluation of Proposed Small Ruminant Development Enhancement Project (SRDEP)

Dajrhas Health and Agric Development Ltd, in collaboration with the TETFund Centre of Excellence in Food Security (TCoEFS), University of Jos, and the Plateau State Government, will host a high-level delegation from the United States Livestock Genetics Export Inc. (USLGE) and the Reproduction Specialty Group (RSG), U.S.A, from 12th to 17th October 2025. The visit aims to evaluate the proposed Small Ruminant Development Enhancement Project (SRDEP)—a multi-institutional initiative designed to strengthen Nigeria’s small ruminant value chains through improved breeding, animal health, feed production, and market linkages.
